As five years past, NIP plans for mid-term review and do necessary update of NIS and develop NIP plan 2026-2030 towards NIS target goals in 2030. %26nbsp;Gavi, the vaccine alliance, the main donor to NIP, also renewed its supporting policy and strategy for 2026-2030 (Gavi 6.0) that Cambodia%26rsquo;s NIP needs to take into consideration for coming five years activity plan. Therefore NIP, WHO, and partners discussed and agreed to conduct NIP review in 2025. %26nbsp;The coverage survey is also planned in parallel in collaboration with National Institute of Public Health for accurately evaluating the performance of the NIP and understanding data-related issues. %26nbsp; %26nbsp;%3C/p%3E%0A%3Cp style=%22font-family%5C: Arial;%22%3EAs set in the NIS, measles is one of the most priority vaccine preventable diseases for NIP Cambodia. There is global measles resurgence since 2023-2024 and in Cambodia since September 2024. In order to stop measles transmission in country, WHO has been supporting NIP in outbreak response activities and, the school-based MR supplementary immunization activity in 9 provinces is planned in July and August 2025 using the Measles and Rubella Partnership Outbreak Response Fund. %26nbsp;Challenges and lessons learned from the measles outbreak and outbreak response activities including the SIA in 9 provinces will inform to the NIS 2026-2030 and be incorporated into National Immunization Program Plan 2026-2030 accordingly. %26nbsp;%3C/p%3E%0A%3Cp style=%22font-family%5C: Arial;%22%3EWHO Cambodia commissions a contract in supporting WHO CO and NIP for 1) measles outbreak response immunization, 2) vaccination coverage survey preparation, implementation, and report, 3) develop NIP plan 2026-2030.%26nbsp;%3C/p%3E%0A%3Ch2 style=%22font-family%5C: Arial;%22%3E%3Cspan style=%22color%5C: #3598db;%22%3EDeliverables%3C/span%3E%3C/h2%3E%0A%3Cp style=%22font-family%5C: Arial;%22%3EA consultant will be working in country based in Phnom Penh and work under WHO CO VDI unit, for National Immunization Program of Ministry of Health.
