What You’ll Do
RTI is seeking a Public Health Analyst for Monitoring and Evaluation to provide support for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Center for Global Health, Division of Global Health Protection’s (DGHP) Office of Monitoring and Evaluation.
This position is based in Atlanta, however, remote telework is allowed. In the future, work may need to be conducted onsite at CDC facilities.
We provide monitoring and evaluation support to Global Health Security (GHS) projects within DGHP. This position will provide coordination support for the team to monitoring and evaluation activities, provide support to data collection, data management, development of survey tools, and development monthly and yearly reports on progress.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with program monitoring and reporting to include survey development, implementation, analyses, and dissemination.
- Assist with program evaluations including data collation of existing data, mixed-methods data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Support knowledge management activities for DGHP and/or outbreak responses, including mailbox management, data management and database development.
- Conduct literature reviews related to DGHP and global health security topics.
- Support development of scientific materials, such as presentations, reports and potential manuscripts and supplements.
- Provide coordination support to the team including scheduling and attending meetings, taking notes, coordinating project management activities, etc.
- Prepare and provide biweekly status reports, culminating in a final report.
What You’ll Need
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in public health or related scientific field.
- At least one year of experience in public health program monitoring or evaluation.
- Global health experience working on/with health projects.
- Proficient in developing products including presentations or reports with data visualizations.
- Working knowledge of data collection and analysis.
- To qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and should not require, now or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B visa status, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with CDC.
- Global health experience working on/with CDC or other USG global health projects.
- Experience working with local health programs.
- Familiarity with Global Health Security.
